Visita Iglesia 2014 (Part 2)

Armando Magtalas Balajadia and his mother, Rosario Magtalas Balajadia went to South San Francisco and Daly City, California to visit several churches for Visita Iglesia on April 18, 2014 (Good Friday) at 11:00am. This is their 2nd day visit to visit several churches. They were not able to complete or finish their visit to seven churches on their 1st day visit because of the crowded people inside the churches and the traffic, of course especially at I-80 West (freeway going to San Francisco).

Exactly at 3:00pm, they finished their visitation to seven churches for their tradition and observance of Holy Week. They also recited the Station of the Cross to all the churches that they visited. Most of the people in Daly City and South San Francisco, California are Filipinos and Mexicans.

After their visitation of the churches, they went to Cypress Lawn Cemetery in Colma, California to visit the grave of his father, Alfredo Darlucio Balajadia. Alfredo was also a Roman Catholic and active in church organizations in Caloocan City, Philippines.

On April 20, 2014, they went to Holy Spirit Church in Fairfield, California to celebrate the Easter Sunday and to attend the Sunday Mass as well. His mother still likes to attend the masses at Holy Spirit Church because they lived in Suisun City, California for almost 8 years.
